sigh, its pretty sad. seeing the class, well... how do I put it, its like there's this HUGE DIVIDE, kinda like EFSF and Titans. both are essentially the same force, on the same side, but well they operate independently, and heck, the only thing they share is the stupid Jaburo base. Their MS are different, their paint schemes are different, basically everything is different.
218 is no different. just very recently, I saw the class doing things for 2 pretty major events: a classmate's birthday and V-day. how do I put it, for V-day its more or less just one group doing things for others in their group. homemade cards and all. I dunno about that one classmate from the other group who is giving out sponge roses to the class. maybe she only gave it to one group, maybe she gave it to the whole class, that I dunno. but either way, the divide is very obvious.
next up, a certain classmate's birthday. Of course, he's a great guy and all, and a good friend to not only me, but also others in the school. however, to have the class celebrate his special day, and not those of other classmates, its a bit... biased? I mean, we are all the same class, why discriminate against "classmates only" and "jalan-jalan after sch classmates" if you are doing such things as a class? in fact, its shocking to think that the organisers actually want the whole class to do something, when not everyone in the class gets the same treatment due to the group system. its exactly a copy of Zeta Gundam, where the Titans borrow the entire EFSF fleet and MS for their own purposes, then leave the EFSF to fend for itself against AEUG and KARABA.
ah well, not like complaining will change anything. just shut up-ed and wrote some
meaningful stuff wishing that classmate a happy birthday. I did voice it out once, but well there's no changes, so yeah....
its natural to have groups, and its also natural to not have extremely good relations and connections with everyone in the class. there's nothing wrong with that. but at the very least, do acknowledge that there's other classmates in the class as well. the whole EFF doesn't just consist of the Titans alone. there's still the EFSF. do things as a class, as a whole, don't leave out others. it's very sad to see 218 become a EFSF + Titans thing. why can't we have a EFSF + Londo Bell situation, where even though there's a clear divide between the 2 groups, both groups are still very interconnected, going about ensuring peace in the Earth Sphere together? why can't we go about doing things together, celebrating everyone's classmate irregardless of "groups"? you can have another celebration after school within your groups, that's fine, but in school, please don't leave out those not in your clique.
well, at the very least, it hasn't deteoriated to the EFSF + League Militaire situation....
