as the saying goes, tomorrow's always a better day! sch wasn't that bad, no chemi hmwk yeah. geog results quite good, minus the stupid file. hate filing, hate it to the core >_< completed tuning on my RX7 (again). also went to tweak the tuning for other races too (drag, streetX, etc) why tune? simple. tuning is like a way of communicating between u and ur car. eg. ur car is a little weak on acceleration, so you compromise by tuning a bit more on its acceleration. similarly, ur cornering isn't that good, so your car changes the way it attacks corners to suit ur style. together, after tuning, both driver and car will become a team.
bleargh, last min moar funds >_< oh well, pay day tml. lets check out the shopping list:

rant post go!
1) argh, freaking dragged my instrument back home. yes, that stupid large piece of metal. prob 5-8kg.
2) stuck with $0.80 for 2 more days. 2 MOAR DAIZ!!!! great, looks like a few days of "ah boii, want to eat bee hoon?"
3) zzzz, request thread in some mecha forum for SWAT Kats pics kena locked by moderators. bleargh, 24 episodes how to find time to look thru each and everyone of em? 30 diff weapons over 24 episodes broken up into 3 parts. 30/(24x3) = 0.4167= 41.67% chance of some weapon that i need appearing in a 15min cut of the episode.
4) shit, over-file/sand my tomcat engines, now cannot fit w/o a 1cm large lobang. wtf, and the clear canopies all break. BOTH OF THEM! nahbeh, when that day not good for plamo, its not good for plamo. now have to buy a F16, AND a F14.
5) just knew that the geog population/malth theory hmwk i failed. hopefully my miraculous geog asshole results of my tests can help coverup
6) falling sick. prob due to a lack of gunpla. kk fine, and sleep. dunno whether can make it to fri, for that inter-class thing. most likely will take MC, then can recover by sat.
7) oh, did i mention that my physicals suck? going to throw away face on fri i guess, haiz. watch, as the amazing vick runs slower than a stationary frisbee!
8) damn, forget to save the tuning for my RX7 for drifting races, have to redo. argh!!!!
9) speaking of PS2, went to change game, nahbeh new game also cannot play. [censored] this world!!!

late for clubhouse cuz had to find pics of Turbokat's missiles. today is the car build meet, sia lah the car models all very the realistic, like real cars just smaller
finally started work on the Turbokat. began disecting one of my F-14s, shaping the nose and wing parts for future use, still deciding how to save the engines and cockpit.
didn't play lunchmoney today, and cant borrow it. bleargh. better luck next time eh?

interesting concept.
anyway, today went to the Japanese School of Singapore, for their version of pasar malam, with Lockie. not bad, makan very very good. yakatori was so good i am nvr going to eat from any stupid S'pore stalls ever again, unless its Tori-Q. and they had some soda called Rum. yes darren, RUM. and like rum, addictive. downed a total of 4 botts in 1 hr, had to stop cause it cost $2 a pop. dang, 200ml summore.... I tell u, there must b smthg behind it, mayb from the 2 nukes or wad, there must b. confirm have. gunpla like that, makan also like that >_<
oh, and for the more horny boys, yea. lots of jap chio bu. + yukata, their traditional dress.
afterwards went to pasir ris for a quick arcade pit-stop. FUCK, one of the worst arcades I've been to. Spirits of Zeon machine the card reader spur, tell auntie, she fuck care. 3rd time then reply "sry bo maintenance staff". argh..... came just for that 1 game, and cant play. its like..... a smoker have a lot of cigarettes but no lighter.
ok, u win. play house of dead 4. gun off-center slightly lower can understand, but nahbeh, grenade button spoil, wad kind of fuck place is this!? walk over to max tune 3 machine, almost want to play, but heng pple tell me GEAR and BRAKE SPOIL! likethat how to drive!?

nothing much these few days.
argh, chemistry still a very lousy U grade, bleh. oh well, right now concentrating on physics, aiming to get full for all class tests and B for major tests. geog, just do my best. maths, bleh..... see my sec sch results, i tink this one is a bit tricky, mayb go back to old style of "final week cheong from wake up to slp for 7 days straight".
$$$ almost gone, confirm not enuff to buy gunpla within this couple of weeks. argh..... at least supplies all here.
oh, remind me to borrow the lunchmoney card game. wanna share with class ^ ^

SUNDAY
wah, didn't went to the clubhouse, woke up too late. no one at home, WOOT! BRING OUT THE PS2!!!
yep, pure bonding time all the way until bedtime. one game only : need for speed underground 2. finally got the RX8, my 2nd favourite car. (fav car hint: mazda rotary engine)
so its time to zhng it to the max! but no exteriors plz, i love my cars as stockish as possible, unless it looks nicer with zhng. eg. carbon fibre spoilers.
just discovered a major flaw in the RX8. it handles perfectly, doesn't put up any resistance when given orders, follows exactly what you tell it to do. BUT once you hit a certain limit, eg. 280kmh or a drift that sends it more than 120 degrees, its gone. whole thing goes haywire.
oh, and learned smthg very impt, which i clarified with my american acquaintances. FR (rear wheel drive) cars can drift, but FF (front wheel drive) cars cannot drift. this I know. therefore, you have to learn this thing called trail braking. yes, wtf. you basically hold brake and accelerator while going through the whole curve. DO NOT BRING IT TO A DRIFT. therefore, FF cars cannot drift, FR cars cannot trail brake. 4WD can do both, but very difficult and not as good.

wah, shyt cannot do chemistry at all, stress stress trying to finish it asap so can meet deadline. managed to hand it in b4 teacher collect.
darren came my place, check out my gunpla zoo. long time nvr hear pple go "that's insane man!", damn bleedy shiok.
hmm, mayb tml going DBG again, find more 1/144 planes, namely a F16, so can build my turbokat.
btw some suggestions i got were weird.

FRIDAY
bleargh, for some reason i can't seem to make my brain work. couldn't think properly, in fact i cant even actually do the stupid physics hmwk w/o a lot of guidance from jj and chua. only 3 formulas exists, i need to just plug in one, i got my 1st and 2nd tries wrong. and i even deleted the ans for one whole qn cuz i tot i read wrongly, then jj tell me it was correct, i read wrongly twice. A big thank you to jj and chua, really appreciate the help.
took darren to sunshine plaza to find a good gunpla for him. lol, gunpla building is contagious. 1st kiat lee now darren, who's next?
reached, turned out the shop closed. bleh. change operating time how come i dunno? so end up went to teh arcade play spirit of zeon, too long nvr play, can only reach 3rd stage boss. at least managed to pass the 45sec escape part.
TODAY
SSSP sucks! for today anyway. brought along a gunpla, didn't even touched it. instead, it was some fun time with darren's psp!
armored core not bad, in fact has all the parts from my ps2 ac nexus without the unlocking part, and a bit more. controls were..... very very weird, totally different from my ps2 version. needless to say, pwn3d
next game, ZvA portable! managed to show off a bit, despite having a stressful time with the sword strike gundam. with that tool, SSSP passed very quickly.
reached home, bonding time with PS2! need for speed underground 2 the whole day, so addictive, cant really put down the controller.
tml going off to the clubhouse, wonder what to do there...

argh, financial crisis! overspent on too much stuff >_< and i havent get that F-16 yet, argh.... oh ya, have to go dig out my wrecked MiG 29 from the depths of the storeroom, havent touched those dusty oxidized remants of my primary sch life since.... primary sch?
spent a lot of fun time bonding with my PS2. just me, my PS2, 8pm at night, romantic spot under the moonlight, mashing buttons and hitting analog sticks together. <3
well, mainly playing need for speed underground. not bad, finally got used to the game physics. totally different feel from the other NFS series i have to say, more emphasis on traffic dodging than anything else. which translates to..... FUN! esp. with 10 trucks in one single stupid 1 lane curve.
in other news, recently borrowed this book from YJC library, "the square root of 2". yep, whole book is just talking about the "square root of 2". no, i've not gone insane, just that its actually a very interesting book, must read just for the fun of it.
lately gotten sudden headaches from time to time. its just like me, doing normal stuff then..... ARGH!!!! then back to normal. just a second in duration, but really kills off good ideas when i happen to be thinking of something. it's like "hey, i got an.... ARGH!!!....damnit i forgot my idea"

this post is a simple reference for my model stuff, just ignore ^ ^
Turbokat (serves 1)
ingredients:
F14 front half, rudders and engines
plaplate roughly 3mm thick, palm sized
F16 for body and assorted parts
plaplate 0.3mm thick for doors
putty. a freaking lot of putty.
MiG-29 or F22 intakes (will need HEAVY MODIFICATIONS!!! U HAVE BEEN WARNED, BWAHAHA)
paint (black, blue, red, yellow, maybe white)
leftover polycaps and trees from gunpla
satay sticks or plastic rods
one oval shaped thing, check pics for details.
very small chain
pot of stew. yes, pot of stew
SD gundam's hammer
paper
instructions:
cut out front shape of F14 , try to somehow increase the height of that part.
F14 engines out, sand and file until squared. attach half oval
shape the rudders
plaplate cut into correct shape, mark out places to attach plastic nails for swing wing action
F16 engine, landing gear, tailplanes, middle engine, etc
make intake and middle engine can turn using gunpla leftovers
attach and fit
mark out internal bay doors
cut doors out? paint inside white, build pylons from sticks/rods
attach chain to pot and spike ball (medival weapon set)
paper to make octopus missiles, and other missiles.
use imagination to make that cement gatling cannon.
fit together, paint, topcoat, volia.
serves 1

wow, today sure is a weird day.
1st things 1st, today is the birthday of a certain girl i used to like and admire during my secondary sch days. damnit, 4 full years, and still counting. this is seriously one emotional luggage i would like to throw away >_< esp. since she isn't interested in me, and im not exactly shocked anyway, who would want a mecha idiot as her boyfriend.
ah well, almost went to get a present. i stress the word almost. luckily my "logical" part came in just when i started queueing, else my "impulsive" side would leave me $30 poorer and dissappointed as well, just like last year. sigh, youngsters nowadays acting on impulse neh mind, worse is nvr think thru. she dun like means dun like, irregardless of wadever shyt u do.
sigh, suck at relationships. wouldn't b surprised if i end up single for the rest of my life. hey, that's not really bad anyway, much more freedom and more space for future gunpla ^ ^
then sch. wah, some SAF Colonel came for a talk, argh..... last min then rem my qn, but end liao, zzz. else i can finally figure out why S'pore get the F15 to replace the F16.

what a great day!
woke up, look at time. gosh, 10am, going to be late. went about crawling through the gundam forums, and finally decided to patch up that huge lobang in my shield. looks so much better now. As a precaution, also gave the other side some stitches just in case.
then off I go, to the clubhouse! not used to toa payoh area, end up walking around like a kuku for 30min. finally found my way there, by sheer luck. was so close to flagging a taxi.
reached, shyt didn't bring my incomplete NDP gundam >_< good also lah, later they see the melted head, macham mati, lagi worse. tried the chicken rice at the coffeeshop just outside the clubhouse, wah see beh shiok, too bad the chilli sucks so badly. It has some weird thinner and chemical smell in it, urgh.... then since no gunpla, went ahead with the hmwk i brought. pretty much finished and heck care-d thru most of it, then revised some physics. learned some things about the engineering world from the adults, DUN EVER TAKE ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING, U WILL DIE!!! or at least be content with 1.5k monthly. then discussed our plans for the aircraft meet. ah well, since my 1st time, decide to do something less challenging, like i dunno, scratchbuild the Turbokat from the cartoon SWAT Kats.

F-117 stealth fighter bottom for basic body shape
F-14 tomcat for front fuselage
F-16 fighting falcon for middle engine
F/A-18 hornet for nose
F-15 eagle for 2 main engines
I dunno, F-1 racing cars for engine intake? or use gunpla ones, see how
F-111 aardvark for wings
yep, check out that shopping list. and if i make a mistake with any part, have to go and buy again.
thus, the 2nd option is the only one feasable enough: got and build the damn thing from plastic sheets, with a F-14 and F-16 for the engines. so much for not challenging.
ah well, rest of day was pretty fun, just messing around and chit-chatting, blah blah, went home at 7pm, pretty shiok day.
minus the headache from the Turbokat. NAHBEH WHERE TO FIND, HOW TO BUILD!?

bleargh..... suffering from an overdose of holiday and modelkits....
N day itself, Lockie came at quite an early time. 12 noon exact. Actually we were supposed to build our "Limited Edition Celebration Colours Gundam" kit together, but that can wait. first, there's more important things to do....
A FEW ROUNDS OF ZvG!!! bring out the PS2, and grab ur controller. this is pretty much a must every meeting, else we won't know who's better ^ ^ kinda like some ancient chinese martial arts drama between rivals.
Lockie: bwahaha, my crouching zaku hidden hizack will destroy your pitiful mecha
Me: oh yeah? my barzam-reverse-saber stance is the coolest melee in the game.

Lockie: ur good! but I'm better, my super gundam's long rifle's beam will block out the sun! or at least the ceiling light.
Me: your MS can go and suck my MS for all i care, I have 6 u have 3, check out my "snowing cannon" move!

well, needless to say, we're evenly tied, except when playing random. today's luck not good....
then afterwards, makan! then watch NDP. laughed very very hard at the water thing, and the "sushi buffet" performance. This year's NDP is too entertaining, not like the previous ones. might be a change in idea i guess.
then back to business. hobby knife pwns all other tools, too bad I dun have the $$$ to get such a good one. then went to panel line the head, alamak! want to erase, tried all sorts of funny funny stuff since we dunno what the gundam marker ink is based on, water oil or enamel. tried soap + water, lighter fluid, no use. went to find thinner, but ended up using nail polish remover, also no use. worse still, my plastic melted O_o
argh.... use hobby knife slice away top layer, now my that head bo lines, look so botak >_< yuck... decided to put some lines of my own, not that bad but could be better... buaytahan, heck care, use mechnical pencil for lining, end up effect quite nice.
didn't manage to finish the kit, went to bed.
NEXT DAY
wake up, immediately went for some hot ZvA2+ action. played the infinite enemies stage. Like a true Singaporean, Lockie chose the "tried and tested, confirm can get bleedy good" strike noir. being me, I took one which I'm confortable with and can also tahan the stress I'm going to throw at it, the Destiny.
so off we go! 1st round not bad, reached 50. we tried some stragedies and etc for the 2nd round, cuz we kept hitting one another. effect: 30. sucks. 3rd round heck care, u do wad u want, I do wad i want, kena friendly fire just say sry and move on. effect: 80+. and our teamwork so much better, weird. best still, i'm down to 7hp and managed to survive 30 enemies. not bad....
then off to bugis to meet up with the Scallops regulars. heng nvr bring my kit, Lockie kena swan and shoot by the regulars.
then went around the area, makan chit-chat, find modelkits and supplies, blah blah.... all the way until 10pm. see beh shiok.

hmm, boring unexciting stuff these 2 days. didn't go for class outing overseas (Sentosa) cuz.... well, guess my previous "law of Vick-y" still stands : No Gunpla, No Want. no wonder pple jio me go bugis or Dhoby Gault area i always 1st to say yes one >_<
so that's that..... went home and decide wad to do. argh, Lockie not free, no one else free, arcade? bleh saving $$$ for gunpla, left with nothing else but my sis com and my trusted ps2
fine, went to watch the remaining few episodes of swat kats which i havent watch yet, and a bit of mrbrown. ARGH! swat kats only until epi 24 then bo liao, sian...... oh well, can decide to go and do a Turbokat modelkit, go and mix F14 with F16.....
then that's done, back to com. surf surf the gundam forums a bit, not much new updates, and argh.... my Jegan 1/144 which i have been waiting for 7mths, now out of stock again >_< internetz shopping vs credit card avaliability.....sigh.... wait until i become adult, then i heck care, open my own gunpla shop, bwahahaha, nothing for sale, all mine
tried to cook instant noodle, forgot kitchen bo gas, end up try using hot water, become soggy mamme monster snacks....
so, its time for some man-n-machine bonding time with the PS2. tried a bit of Ace Combat 5, found out F14s dun get along well with skyscrapers >_<
then some Armored Core stuff, made a few for fun ACs and just got thrashed by the com. badly.
sick of it, went back to NFSCarbon, actually bo liao until go and hello kitty ALL MY CARS, including that 2 lamborghinis, yes. dunno heng or sian, forgot to save
argh, still 6pm only..... time to do childish stuff! bring out most of my gunpla, rummage my "old toys" from the storeroom which I dunno y nvr throw away, then toss a few lego trees and plastic soldiers here and there, volia! real-life C&C style game.
so ya, thats how sian today is. oh well, tml building the "National Day Celebration" Gundam with Lockie, and meeting up with a super long-time nvr see good friend. shld b much better than today

pretty eventful weekend....
Saturday
went for SSSP (wah now got one more S seh.... Super Special Saturday Party! upgrade liao lor!)
this is the 1st SSSP i really felt like doing nothing hmwk related. brought a gunpla to fix after finishing some hmwk *as usual* Of all gunpla, i had to bring a Hizack, argh..... lousiest kit IMHO, but still, its a gunpla....
finish SSSP, went with Joseph for his church thing. Just realized that its the same church thing Lockie always pull me to in the distant past (Lockie=my cousin)
as expected, the "wanna be a christian" qn pops up at the end. sorry guys, but I'm a mecha otaku. no harm/swuaning/hatred/anything negative intended, but I only acknowledge Ideon as a being of higher existence and God Gundam as its messenger. actually, its really just i prefer to be a free thinker/science+logic person lah, cuz personally i cannot agree to any religion as i always find some parts i dun totally agree with lor....
after that, hit the arcades at DBG, defeated that gundam game with Lockie, meet some Scallops regulars, then rush to Tampines to buy my gunpla.
Sunday
went to Toa Payoh to the "clubhouse", where we Scallops regulars hang out. (Scallops = Caleb's, the gunpla shop which closed down. one of the regulars set up a shophouse where we can hang out, but only open on sunday. lol, can say its the church of gunpla and plamo)
forget clear bag, end up bring my half-assed disaster of a Hizack. "Not bad lah, but.... u nvr sand, here nvr cut properly, here seemlines, there got lobang dunno why, nvr panel line, nvr remove flash, sticker slightly sengneh, plastic got scratches, polycaps nvr put properly...."
yep, those guys are pros.... heck, they could just build and sell modelkits and make a living out of it, but no..... they had to all be some manager in some company.....
Johnny brought an interesting game. "LunchMoney", see beh fun game. i try to borrow, see if can play with 119 pple. up to many many players also can
fun game, until 2 foreign workers came, snatch handphone and ran. cuz we were playing outside the shop, and we used our handphones as paperweights and calculators, so can say is easy target. they took 2 (heng not mine), we chase, they drop 1
so ya lah, police case liao lor.... a few days later have to do photo identikit and all those stuff. scarly can see the case on crimewatch.

heh heh, decided to resurrect my long dead blog from my sec sch days, and edit a bit to make it newer. can say is kena influenced by classmates lah, but it offers a good place to share your life experiences
anyway, today supposed to go tampines get a box of rare gunpla which i have been eyeing for some time.

and as you know Garnish loves to make people unhappy. "Monday we will have rehearsal again, same time as today *ie. until 7.30pm*"
great.... by the time i can go buy, kena bought by others liao lor. oh, and saw kiat lee kena catch by Garnish for "not sediah-ing when college song is played (7 times total) by the band". funny sia his face, like when a pet do smthg naughty and have that cute, innocent face. too bad never take picture.
back home, played a bit of need for speed carbon. made a pink hello kitty car just for fun (actually i hate that car, but i prefer not to admit). spent 1 full hr trying to get the circles into the correct shape and position, too bad no triangle ears, so look a bit like pasar-malam sticker that quality. anyway, very shiok to drive. its like, imagine you're the opponent. "I am driving around in my big, fierce, dragon-tatoo subaru and i got overtaken by a hello kitty car" rofl, now to try to get some friends, win them using hello kitty car....
then Armored Core time! load disc, go main menu, feel sian, change game, drive hello kitty car. oh noes, im becoming less mech-freak and more..... hello kitty fan!? yeck....
any suggestions for stupid car designs just throw into the Chatbox, tried to make a SMRT Subaru taxi, but too bad no alphabets.
